Environment Canada has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the Elk Valley.
The national weather forecaster says as much as 25 cm of snow is expected to fall around Fernie between tonight and Wednesday evening, most other areas of the Elk Valley will get 15 cm.
Meanwhile, a snowfall warning has been issued for the Cranbrook area with as much as 20 cm expected in some areas.
Extreme Cold Warnings for both areas have ended.
