St Mary’s River Wildfire increases in size again, reaches 4,093 hectares

The St. Mary’s River wildfire is now measured at 4,093 hectares.

The wildfire was last mapped at 3,342 hectares on Friday morning, with a size increase reported Saturday.

With the increased fire activity on the Northeast corner, the size is expected to change again the next time wildfire crews can track its perimeter.

All Evacuation Alerts and Evacuation Orders issued by the RDEK, The ?aq’am community and the City of Cranbrook remain unchanged.
