The former GM of the Kootenay ICE is parting ways with the Calgary Hitmen.
The Hitmen announced on Friday, July 14 they are parting ways with Jeff Chynoweth, who has spent six years of the WHL team’s General Manager.
Chynoweth was GM for the Kootenay ICE from 2002-2017. He joined the Hitmen after selling the ICE to Greg Fette and Matt Cockell six years ago.
The Calgary Hitmen have promoted Gerry Davidson as their director of hockey operations.
