Amplify East Kootenay is shining a spotlight on local businesses for 2023.
Today, we look at Mr. Mikes Steakhouse Casual in Cranbrook.
Mr. Mikes Steakhouse Casual in Cranbrook has been serving the community on Cranbrook Street North since 2006.
General Manager Vanessa Wolfe says their menu helps them stand out from other restaurants in the Key City.
“We carry a very wide array of food and products,” Wolfe says. “We do everything from burgers to high end steaks, but we also offer great gluten-free options. We do even being a steakhouse offer vegetarian and vegan options.”
The local restaurant continues to give its support to causes throughout the community, including hot lunch programs for two local schools and support for the Green Home.
Wolfe says they also host regular community barbecues raising thousands of dollars for various causes.
“I still have a bunch of barbeques happening, including one for Cops for Kids, JumpStart with Canadian Tire, Hometown for Hunger,” Wolfe says. “We are also doing a barbeque at both of the upcoming car shows, working with the East Kootenay Foundation for Health.”
