
The Kimberley Dynamiters fell 4-1 to the Revelstoke Grizzlies in the second day of the Cyclone Taylor Cup tournament.
Revelstoke started strong, with three goals in the first period.
Revelstoke would get a fourth goal early in the third period to take a 4-0 lead.
Campbell Mclean would finally get Kimberley on the scoreboard 8:49 into the third period, but it would not be enough to get past Revelstoke’s four goal lead. Revelstoke wins 4-1.
Each of the four teams in the Cyclone Taylor Cup have won a game each so far in two days of play. Kimberley’s win came in overtime though, putting Kimberley a point behind the rest of the pack.
Kimberley needs a win in Day 3 of the tournament to move on to the gold medal game on Sunday.
The Dynamiters face the VIJHL champion Oceanside Generals Saturday afternoon.
That game starts in Revelstoke at 2:00 pm Mountain Time.
