Snowfall warning issued for Kootenay Pass, up to 25 centimetres of snow expected

Travellers heading west through the Kootenay Pass are being warned of heavy snow expected Monday.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for mountain passes in BC’s Interior, with heavy snow forecast on Highway 3 between Paulson Summit and Kootenay Pass.

Forecasters warn up to 25 centimetres is expected over the course of Monday and into Tuesday morning on Highway 3.
