The Fernie Ghostriders got a 5-2 victory over the Columbia Valley Rockies Monday night.
Kobe Mason with the Rockies opened up scoring in the second period after a scoreless first frame of the game.
The Fernie Ghostriders would then follow with four back-to-back goals through the second and third period.
Liam Fitzgerald, Ethan MacDugg, Jarod Sigouin and Andrew Karam scored for Fernie with those four markers.
Lucas De La Salle would get Columbia Valley back on the scoreboard at 10:24 in the third period.
The Rockies would pull their goalie with 2:22 left on the clock, only for Fernie’s Kort Kisinger to score the Ghostriders fifth goal of the night 14 seconds later
With the win, the Ghostriders lead their KIJHL playoff series 2-1.
Fernie plays host to Columbia Valley again Tuesday night for Game 4 of their best of seven series.
