The Canfor Corporation has announced they are extending temporary curtailments in place at their sawmills throughout BC.
Temporary curtailments were announced back in December due to weak market conditions, with a goal of removing 150 million board feet of production through December and January.
The company announced this week they are extending their curtailment at select solid wood facilities in BC for an additional two weeks.
The move will remove an additional 21 million board feet from production.
Canfor operates mills in Radium Hot Springs, Elko and Creston.
