The Better Business Bureau Serving Alberta and the East Kootenay are warning you to watch out for scams on Cyber Monday.
Cyber Monday is the second-biggest shopping day of the year and the biggest day for online sales.
The Better Business Bureau warns though that scammers often try to trick customers on days where there are many discounts on various products.
The agency says you should watch out for phishing scams and avoid unsolicited emails, texts, calls or letters you get from a person or business you don’t know.
The bureau warns that all a scammer needs is for you to click on a link and give up your personal information.
You can find more information about online scams on the Better Business Bureau’s website.
