A vehicle incident has fully blocked all lanes of Highway 3 at the Olsen Overhead Bridge, approximately four kilometres west of Sparwood, on Friday (Mar. 13), according to DriveBC.

Drivers approaching the area are being advised to expect delays and follow directions from traffic control personnel.

Emergency responders and highway crews remain on site assessing the situation.

No detour is currently in place.

Travellers planning to use Highway 3 through the Elk Valley are urged to monitor DriveBC before heading out.
