The City of Kimberley has launched the process for its 2026–2040 five-year financial plan, beginning a new round of discussions that will shape city spending and priorities over the next few years.
Chief Financial Officer Krista Waite is leading a series of discussions in which council and residents will review proposed projects, examine sources of revenue, and discuss capital plans.
The first presentation, set for Monday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. at City Hall, is set to outline Kimberley’s revenue policy.
The discussion will be available to the public in person and streamed live on Kimberley’s YouTube channel (@cityofkimberleybc), with playback available afterward.
Public consultation has also opened through the city’s engagement platform, EngageKimberley.ca, where residents can watch budget presentations, review documents, and submit questions or feedback.
Krista Waite says public feedback helps shape decisions and local priorities.
More information and participation options are available at EngageKimberley.ca.
