Lake Koocanusa will welcome athletes from across the country next month for the 2025 Canadian Wakesurf and Foiling Nationals.
The championships are scheduled for September 6 and 7 at Koocanusa Village and aim to show more than 60 competitors.
The event will include both skim and surf-style wakesurfing as well as a foiling division, which returns to the national program this year.
Organizers say the competition will host riders at all levels, from junior athletes to professionals.
Spectators will be able to see a range of performances, from technical tricks to freestyle aerials and backflips.
Events will be held on a set one-minute course along Lake Koocanusa, with judging based on style, difficulty, and execution.
The national championships come after the provincial wakesurf competition, which was also held at Koocanusa Village.
