A Cranbrook-based animal rescue is launching a fundraising raffle to help care for animals in need.
Meant 2B Loved Pet Rescue Society’s “Sizzling Summer Raffle” runs from July 24 to August 9, offering a prize package valued at $400.
Tickets are $5 each, with all proceeds supporting the rescue organization, which serves Cranbrook and Kimberley.
The prize includes a $150 gift certificate to Sunshine Water Park, a 73-litre retro patio cooler, two $25 Save On Foods gift cards, and a $50 certificate to Gwinners Country Butcher.
Tickets will be available at Bumble Tree in Cranbrook from July 24 through August 9, and in person at Save On Foods on July 31 between 3:00 and 7:00 p.m. Alternate purchasing options are available by contacting the organization.
The draw will be held at 12:00 p.m. on August 9 at Bumble Tree, and the winner will be announced on Meant 2B Loved’s Facebook page.
Participants must be 19 or older.
“All funds raised will go directly toward the care of local animals in need,” says, Board Member Darryl Dux.
“In recent days we have taken in 16 kittens, some who have already gone from shivering in the rain to playing, purring, and loving the pampered life.”
Meant 2B Loved is a volunteer-run, foster-based rescue that focuses on rehabilitating and rehoming domestic animals, supporting feral cat control, and providing education within the community.
