Top of the World Provincial Park in the East Kootenay remains closed to the public due to post-wildfire hazards on access trails, according to BC Parks.
The park was closed in the interest of public safety following wildfire activity in the area, and no timeline for reopening has been announced.
The closure order remains in effect until further notice.
Updates will be posted on the BC Parks website when available.
BC Parks is also encouraging visitors to consult official sources such as the BC Wildfire Service, local regional districts, and DriveBC for the latest information.
Visitors are advised to explore other BC Parks not affected by wildfire closures.
