The City of Kimberley says Wallinger Avenue at Spokane Street will be fully closed to traffic from June 9 to 11 for underground utility upgrades.
Traffic will be detoured via Howard Street and Kimberley Avenue, with signage and traffic control in place.
Access to parking and businesses on Wallinger Avenue will be maintained, and pedestrian access to the Platzl via Spokane Street will remain open.
Temporary water service interruptions will also affect areas near St. Mary’s Avenue and Ross Street on June 10 and 12, between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Some additional intermittent outages are possible.
Residents are advised to store water in advance, avoid using water appliances during outages, and run taps after service resumes to clear discoloration.
