City water crews have moved their annual directional water main flushing operations to the area south of St. Mary’s School, from 5th Street South to 11th Street South, between 14th Avenue South and Victoria Avenue.
The flushing is expected to continue for the next few days.
Residents may notice cloudy water for a short period afterward—this is not a health concern.
Running cold water until it clears is recommended.
The annual program continues through late June and is aimed at improving water quality by removing sediment and buildup in the water system.
