The Ministry of Finance confirmed today, British Columbians can access all provincial tax services during the ongoing labour disruption at Canada Post.
While mail delivery may be impacted, the Province warn that individuals and businesses remain responsible for meeting tax filing and payment deadlines.
Penalty and interest rules continue to apply during the disruption.
The Province encourages the use of digital options to avoid delays.
eTaxBC, the Province’s online tax service, remains fully operational and unaffected by mail disruptions.
Through eTaxBC, users can file returns, make payments, and access invoices and notices.
People expecting printed documents close to due dates are advised to contact the Ministry of Finance to make alternative arrangements.
