Alberta Mounties have now caught a 38-year-old man on the run for stealing a truck in Crowsnest Pass, only half an hour southeast of Sparwood.
On May 24 at about 6:15 p.m., RCMP responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle thought to be stolen out of Blairmore earlier that day.
The male driver was later seen parking it in Lundbreck and running away.

Crownest Pass RCMP called for support from Piikani and Pincher Creek detachments and K-9 units, then used a drone to find the man– who was hiding in a stack of hay bales.
The suspect is facing a number of possession charges, such as property obtained by crime, break-in instruments, and meth, as well as resisting arrest and driving while prohibited.
He also has arrest warrants from the Edmonton Police Service for charges including Mischief: Danger to Life, Mischief: Danger to Property and Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence.
Spruce Grove resident Russell Edward Dick is set to appear in the Alberta Court of Justice in Fort MacLeod tomorrow, May 29.
