BC Transit is looking to make Election Day an easy ride for Cranbrook residents.
The transportation provider has partnered with the City of Cranbrook to offer free transit on Monday, April 28.
“Offering free transit helps make it easier for residents to get to the polls and cast their ballots,” said BC Transit in a release. “Decisions to offer free transit are made by local government partners in each separate community.”
Key City is the only community in the Columbia-Kootenay-Southern Rockies riding to get the free service. A total of 28 participating B.C. communities have been announced.
More information on Cranbrook’s transit system is available online.
