Crews will be out sweeping Key City roads over the next few weeks–
Starting today, April 16th, the City of Cranbrook will be cleaning up the streets in Zone 1 West, from Highway 3/Van Horne Street to 14th Avenue South between 1st Street South and 11th Street South.
“As you know, Public Works puts a lot of effort each spring to remove much of the debris on City roads left behind from its winter maintenance efforts, through the annual street sweeping operations,” said the City in a release.
“As the street sweeping program rolls out this year, we will provide up-to-date information about which areas of the City our team is currently working in.”
Residents are asked to park off-street on all these priority routes when work is ongoing.
Street sweeping operations will continue at regular intervals through spring and summer ahead of major events. Crews will also help with removing debris during the fall months.
More information is available on the City of Cranbrook’s website.
