On Tuesday, March 18, the U15 Tier 2 Cranbrook Bucks wrapped up their season at Provincials in Nanaimo.
It wasn’t the exact result the Bucks were looking for, as they dropped a 3-2 decision to host Nanaimo in the Gold Medal game.
However, it was still a very successful season for the squad taking home three gold medals in tournament play; The Salmon Arm tournament, Kamloops River City Showdown, and their own U15 T2 Bucks Invitational.
They finished the season with an overall record of 36-10-4 and tacked on a bronze medal and two silver after their most recent provincials finish.
In the release, the Cranbrook Minor Hockey Association congratulated the team and coaching staff for representing both “Cranbrook and the East Kootenay’s so well.”
