It was a night Jacob Fletcher hasn’t had in a very long time, but the timing was perfect.
The 20-year-old centre from Midland, Ontario scored three times Friday night, including the game winner in extra time, to vault the Cranbrook Bucks past the Brooks Bandits 5-4.
Fletcher admitting after the game this one didn’t come easy…
The Bucks actually trailed the game 2-0 after the 20 minutes, and had managed to tie it at three through two periods, and while earlier in the season the team may have stopped playing when down to a better team, Head Coach Ryan Donald believes that’s changed…
Bucks, meantime, continue their home stand with a game Saturday night versus the Okotoks Oilers.
Face-off is 7 p.m.
