Candidates in the newly aligned provincial riding of Columbia River-Revelstoke are getting concerning phone calls from rural Cranbrook voters on the perception of having to travel long distances to vote.
While technically, the only posted polling station in the riding near Cranbrook is at the Kimberley Centennial Hall, the worry for some, particularly seniors, is having to travel for close to an hour to vote.
Conservative candidate Scott McInnis, however, says that’s not the case…
Advanced voting for all 93 ridings across the province began yesterday and continues through Wednesday, with the exception of Thanksgiving Monday, when polls are closed.
The best way to find the nearest polling location is to go onto the Elections BC dedicated “where to vote” webpage: https://elections.bc.ca/2024-provincial-election/where-to-vote/?gad_source=1
