With Rock the Kootenays later this week, BC Transit is stepping up with free bus service to help with potential gridlock.
Starting Friday morning and going until Sunday night, you can put away your wallet for all buses or the handyDART service.
“Leave the car at home when heading out to Rock the Kootenays at Western Financial Place and consider boarding a rockin’ BC Transit bus to get to the festival,” says a release from the city’s transit provider.
Free shuttles will also be leaving from Western Financial Place each night, beginning at 10, with the last one, an hour later, at 11 p.m.
The first shuttle will take concert goers from the venue to Tamarack Centre and the Walmart Plaza, the second will loop around the Southside of Cranbrook, while the third shuttle will travel to Moir Park. (Please see map above)
We’ve attached a link to the release, with details on the both the music festival and BC Transit.
