With the exception of the District of Sparwood, municipal property taxes are due today, July 2, for cities, districts, and villages in the East and West Kootenay.
Tax notices should have arrived in the mail by mid-June, and in some cases, as early as May.
For ratepayers in the Regional District of East Kootenay and residents in the Central Kootenay, billing would have come through a provincial agency.
Below is a list of links to property tax information and guidelines set out by the individual jurisdictions within our region.
Deadline is by the end of business today.
For Sparwood residents, tax deadline day is Thursday, July 4.
