Update:
RCMP, as of late Thursday morning, were continuing to look for an individual believed to be involved in a weapons-related encounter with another person in the Baynes Lake area yesterday.
While authorities were asking the public to stay away from areas to the south of Jaffray, Corporal James Grandy says RCMP are now just asking those in the area to be vigilant…
The vehicle you’re being asked to watch out for is an older model dark grey Ford F-150, with a headache rack, camouflage along the sides, and heavy damage to the windshield and front-end.
Police released a photo (see above) Thursday afternoon of the vehicle and a license plate number for the truck.
It’s a British Columbia license plate: SM9740
RCMP, again, are cautioning you not approach the vehicle or engage with the driver, but call 911 immediately.

Although details are limited, Mounties say they were called to a property in the morning for a disturbance involving a weapon.
RCMP spokesperson Corporal James Grandy indicated it was believed to be a targeted incident.
Grandy said the suspect does not appear to be an active threat, but remains at large, adding officers are working diligently to locate and apprehend the person.
The vehicle the suspect, in this case, is reportedly driving is an older model dark grey Ford F-150, with a headache rack, camouflage along the sides, and heavy damage to the windshield and front-end.
RCMP recommend you not approach the vehicle or engage with the driver but call 911 instead.
