Cranbrook residents can support a good cause when filling up their gas tank next week.
Fuel Good Day is coming to the Cranbrook Co-op gas bar on Tuesday, September 19.
Over the course of the day, 10 cents from every litre of fuel sold at the gas station will be donated to the Meant 2B Loved Pet Rescue Society.
This includes all grades of gasoline and diesel fuel.
There will also be draws and giveaways happening locally.
The event is being recognized at Co-op gas bars throughout BC, with locations in Cranbrook, Armstrong, Salmon Arm and Vernon taking part and supporting local non-profits and charities in their communities.
More than $3 million has been donated to over 700 local organizations are part of Fuel Good Day since its launch in 2017.
