Amplify East Kootenay and Save On Foods are showcasing local businesses who are amping up their neighbourhood.
Total Pet in Cranbrook is known for being at plenty of community events and taking part in local fundraisers.
Store manager Taylor Yonkman says they enjoy working with and supporting the Cranbrook Pet Food Bank.
“Every year we do a couple month-long fundraisers through the store,” says Yonkman. “The fundraisers that we always work for is the Cranbrook Pet Food Bank, we raised a lot of money for them over the year and do a lot of donations for supplies and food. We like working with the pet food bank because they support a lot of our low income families in the community as well as a lot of seniors.”
Yonkman adds staff are known to host or attend day camps to help kids learn about their pets.
