Five local golf courses are being recognized by SCOREGolf magazine.
The magazine has released a list of the Top 59 Public Courses in Canada, judging courses on nine different criteria, including fun factor, design, challenge and beauty.
Locally, Eagle Ranch in Invermere scored the highest, claiming the 31st spot.
Trickle Creek Golf Course in Kimberley was ranked 48th and Copper Point in Windermere came in at 50th.
Cranbrook’s Shadow Mountain ranked 47th and Wildstone Golf Course was ranked 56th.
