The RDEK has issued an Evacuation Order for properties in the vicinity of the Yearling Creek Wildfire.
The fire is now 1,150 hectares in size and is located to the East of Radium Hotsprings.
The Evacuation Order covers:
- Nipika Mountain Resort
- Cross River Education & Retreat Centre
- Cross River Forest Service Road
- Cross River Canyon Recreation Site
In addition, an Evacuation Alert is in affect for six dwelling on Settler’s Road and Horseshoe Rapids Recreation Site.
