Construction for the new playground in Fernie’s Annex neighbourhood is set to begin Monday.
Construction is being completed by BDI Play Design, contractors will have fencing in place and may close the nearby walking path if required.
The playground is part of Fernie’s efforts to promote wellness in Annex Park.
The new playground is planned to open July 15.
