Columbia Valley residents can expect to be without power for a few hours this weekend.
BC Hydro is conducting planned power outages around Invermere, Fairmont Hot Springs and Canal Flats on Saturday and Sunday while crews conduct work on their equipment, they say 458 customers will be without power while this is ongoing
This weekend’s power outages are happening 10:00 am to 2:00 pm Saturday, and 7:00 am to 2:00 pm Sunday.
There will be another planned power outage in the area the following weekend which will impact 1,028 BC Hydro customers.
