Kimberley Search and Rescue were called for an early morning rescue after two people and their dog were stranded on a forest service road.
The call for help came around 3:00 am Wednesday morning.
SAR volunteers were able to reach the stranded residents and bring them back into town. No injuries were reported in this incident.
Kimberley Search and Rescue are reminding the public that they are available to help you or your group at all hours of the day at no cost.
They say you should call as soon as possible as the cold temperatures will put you and your group at risk for hypothermia if you are stuck in the outdoors for an extended period of time.
