Elk Valley RCMP is warning residents about frequently seen scams around the holiday season.
Police say they’ve received several reports of scams circulating locally, including text messages about parcels or packages that could not be delivered.
RCMP warn residents to think twice before clicking links sent to you via email or text message.
They suggest contacting the shipping company directly rather than clicking on an unsolicited link.
