Angel Flight East Kootenay wants to hear from you.
The local non-profit has launched a survey to help with developing a 3-5 year strategic plan.
Founder and president Brent Bidston hopes to plan will map out a succession plan for Angel Flight.
“Make sure we can keep running Angel Flight in the future,” says Bidston, “Rather then changing the way we’re doing it, which we think is working well at the moment, but of course we’ll be very interested to see what people have to say to see if there is something we can do to improve.”
Bidston wants to see a full-time administrator added to the staff in the next 3-5 years.
“The administration, the handling, and keeping track of requests is a huge amount of work,” he says. “Every person we carry, we probably have to phone 3 or 4 times before the flight happens to get things organized. And it’s a lot of work.”
Angel Flight provides free air transportation to Kelowna for medical appointments.
The survey closes October 17.
