A two term city councilor in Kimberley wants another term in office.
Kimberley Councillor Sandra Roberts is seeking re-election in this year’s Municipal Election.
Roberts has been retired since 2004 after years of working with the BC Chamber of Commerce, the Kootenay Savings Credit Union and numerous non-profit groups.
She was first voted into the role in 2014 and has loved every part of the experience.
Roberts wants to continue economic development projects the city has been working on over her last two terms in office.
She also wants to see work on the wastewater treatment plant come to a conclusion while she is in office.
Roberts was first elected to city council in 2014.
The Municipal Election is set for October 15th.
