The Weasel Creek fire east of Roosville is no longer considered a wildfire of note.
The fire was first discovered on July 30th near the border with the United States.
The BC Wildfire Service says showers and lingering low-level moisture have been helpful in suppressing the blaze.
Area restrictions remain in areas around the blaze, as it remains an active worksite and safety measures need to be in place.
The Weasel Creek blaze is estimated at 1,088 hectares in size and was the last fire considered a Wildfire of Note locally.
