The City of Cranbrook says golden willow trees have been removed from Joseph Creek, and the project to restore the creek is moving along well.

The City posted an update to social media on the Joseph Creek restoration project between 1st Street South and 15th Avenue South.
Infrastructure and planning manager Mike Matejka says the golden willows were harmful to the creek, they’ll be replaced with new plants to help keep Joseph Creek healthy.
