The District of Invermere is reminding you to adhere to parking guidelines when visiting the beach at Lake Windermere.
Parking is limited at Kinsmen Beach, you’re encouraged to walk or ride a bike to get there when it’s possible.
If you’re driving, don’t park in front of driveways or fire hydrants and avoid blocking sidewalks.
You’re also asked to be mindful of public and private parking areas.
If the main parking lot at Kinsmen Beach is full, you can use overflow parking at the Rotary Ball Park and tennis courts.
