(Update: 12:01 am, Friday, July 15) Cranbrook RCMP say a victim is in stable condition in hospital with non life-threatening injuries following an incident Thursday night.
Police were called to a shooting complaint around 8:00 pm near the 400 block of King Street.
A male suspect was arrested and King Street was closed until nearly midnight while investigators collected evidence.
More information will be released Friday.
