The days are getting longer, the snow has melted and the sun is getting stronger.
With the return of spring, the City of Cranbrook is asking residents and businesses to join us in our Springtime Spruce Up Cranbrook campaign– a community clean up and beautification initiative.
Through the effort of many volunteers, we will work to remove litter and debris from our parks, the creek, neighborhoods, streets, schools and public areas including in and around our many businesses.
Our Springtime Spruce Up campaign is designed to encourage business owners and citizens to take 20-minutes and spruce up the area around their business or home.
Twenty minutes can make a big difference!
A clean and litter-free community is one of the ways we can help take care of our planet and encourage a sense of pride amongst citizens.
Schools within the City of Cranbrook have been actively involved in cleaning up their schoolyards each year with loads of garbage bags being collected.
Several local clubs, organizations, Chamber members, the Downtown Business Association and many other citizens have been very supportive of this program.
Please help by registering yourself, your business or organization with the City’s Recreation and Culture department as a participant in this year’s Springtime Spruce Up campaign.
Email corinna.hrehirchuk@cranbrook.ca or call us at 250-489-0220 today and we will provide you with some bags!
