A fundraising campaign in Cranbrook will once again prove that giving has never tasted so good.
Cranbrook Burger Month has returned and will see 11 restaurants in the city crafting unique off-menu burgers to serve throughout the month of March.
$10 from each burger sold will go to supporting the development of the East Kootenay Foundry.
Last year, over $55,000 was raised in support of the cause.
Fire Hall Kitchen and Tap owner Jesse Roberts says some new restaurants have joined the campaign this year.
“The Blind Pig has joined up as well as the Himalayan Spice Bistro and Sakura, which is very, very exciting,” Roberts says. “And then we had a couple of ones that dropped off. Restaurants had closed or were just unable to participate this year.”
