Max’s Place has been a fixture in Cranbrook for 26 years, with many repeat customers coming back for healthy food and drink options.
Owner Lisa Barnes says she and her husband Graham – who is also the baker – enjoy a great rapport with many longtime customers.
“We get to know people by name, by drinks, by order,” explains Barnes. “It’s been great to be able to joke around with them and create that camaraderie. Not only is it exceptional food, that’s healthy – but you also kind of have a feeling of coming home when you come to Max’s Place.”
Barnes says Max’s Place works hard to be a great community member, and partners with local non profits for many initiatives in Cranbrook.
