
Administration with Kimberley’s McKim Middle School in the Rocky Mountain School District have written to parents regarding recently reported cases of COVID-19 at the school.
In a letter to families, Vice Principal Dan Clark says there have been five confirmed cases of COVID-19 at McKim.
He advises parents that Interior Health will contact you if your son or daughter is considered a close contact to an individual with a positive case of COVID-19.
At this time, the cases at McKim Middle School are not listed on Interior Health’s school exposures website.
Meanwhile, Interior Health is reporting recent COVID-19 exposure events at two schools in Cranbrook.
The incidents were reported November 22nd and 23rd at Cranbrook’s Parkland Middle School and on November 22nd at Kootenay Christian Academy.
No other schools within the Southeast Kootenay School District are seeing reports of potential exposure events.
